Oct 2007 Newsletter

We hope everyone has enjoyed the first month of dance and a big welcome to students who are just joining us in October!!

Our annual shoe swap was a success; however, there were some shoes and clothes left over. If you are still looking to sell your items, you can post the information right inside the front door on the cork board provided.

Our Dance Elite will be competing in the DanceQuest competition to be held in October along those who have worked hard on their solo, dup, trio and group numbers. We wish everyone good luck, and are proud of the accomplishments of each and every one of you!!

Throughout the year some of us are forgetful and leave our personal belongings behind at the studio. This year all “lost and found” items will be donated to a local charity at the end of every month. Please make sure your child is bringing only necessary items to dance, this may eliminate forgetting items when they are leaving.

Please remember to support the fundraising efforts of our Dance Elite as they are raising money to attend various competitions throughout the year.

Centre Stage would like to remind everyone that the studio will be closed on all statutory holidays.

During the winter months if it becomes necessary to cancel classes due to inclement weather, a notice will be put on local radio stations as well as the voicemail at the studio (635-7824) will be updated to inform you of a school closure.

Please call the studio 635-7824 if you would like to register for any of our 6 week classes. We offer Mommy and Me, Jive and Step dance classes.

Centre Stage is supporting our local food banks. From now until November 15th, please bring your non perishable donations with you to class and place them in the box provided beside the payment centre. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will certainly help the needy in our communities, so lets pull together and show our Centre Stage family spirit!!
